"Wildcat Orchid"

(Oncidium Hybrid: Miltonia x Odontoglossum x Oncidium)

I purchased this lovely plant from what must be the most experienced Orchid grower in Austin, the owner of It's a Jungle. I have been a customer at this nursery several times but this is the first time I bought an Orchid. Well, to tell the truth I bought it for a friend who gave it as a gift. When the plant was sitting on my kitchen table with late afternoon sunlight behind it, the rich colors of the blooms were a sight to behold. It was this moment that I tried to capture in this photo.
