"Bin 389" 2004
I think this image will confuse some people. It's among the few pieces of my art that are difficult to appreciate on screen. To really "get" this one, you should see a nice high-resolution print of it.
In an attempt to make it easier to see the details of the image, I've made a higher-resolution "zoomify" movie for you to play with. You should find that you can zoom in to a greater degree with this one than with the other images on my site.
This is my first foray into creating an image with a pop art feel to it. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out and I'm looking forward to making more images similar to it.
When I created this image, I did so with Gicleé printing in mind. This is a high quality ink-jet process widely accepted among artists creating both traditional and digital art. While still offering this image printed on matte photo paper, I'm also making two sizes of Gicleé prints available. The Gicleé prints are on heavy 100% cotton rag velvet art paper and are sure to look lovely when framed.
