A memory of Jackson Square on a beautiful summer day.

This photograph was taken on Labor Day 1998 with a cheap point-and-shoot camera that was about the best equipment I could afford at the time. I eventually threw away that camera because it usually didn’t produce very sharp photos on the rare occasions when it worked at all. The quality of the equipment I used and the fact that I composed the shot in a very haphazard way made for a very pleasant surprise when this photo turned out so beautifully.
